Install and open
Install Starter Lens from its verified Chrome Web Store listing, pin it from Chrome's Extensions menu, then click the icon on a tool website or documentation page. You can also select a tool name, right-click, and choose “Look up with Starter Lens.”
When a tool is not recognized
Use the search field in the side panel. Starter Lens only returns complete public entries from Starter Wiki; an unrecognized product may not yet have a decision-ready profile.
Refresh the catalog
Open Settings in the side panel and choose “Refresh catalog.” The extension will request the current public catalog from starter.wiki while retaining its bundled offline catalog as a fallback.
Remove local data
Use “Clear saved tools” in Settings, or remove the extension from Chrome. Starter Lens stores saved tools and preferences only in Chrome local storage.

For support, corrections, or a removal request, use the developer support contact shown on the verified Chrome Web Store listing. Include the extension version and the tool page involved, but do not send credentials or private page content.
